- A nurse or other qualified individual is usually on duty at all times during the summer season. This is not mandated by state laws; however, Windermere makes every effort to provide this service.

Gift Shop/Book Store |
- Windermere's gift shop and book store are located next to the lake across from the dining hall.
- Hours of operation are posted in various locations on the grounds.
- Limited toiletry items can be purchased there.

Maintenance |
- General facilities maintenance is available at all times.
- Complimentary firewood is provided for fireplaces.
- Snow removal provided during the winter months.

Security |
- Security is provided 24 hours a day with a security guard patrolling the grounds through the night.
- Guest assistance is available at all times, and emergency messages will be delivered in a very timely manner.

Telephones |
- Private phones are available in most of the private lodging, such as the Motel, Lake View Family Cabins, and Deer Ridge Lodges.
- Calling instructions and rates can be found near the phones in each room.

Laundry |
- Coin-operated facilities are located in the RV park, Motel, and Lower Red Bud Lodge. These facilities are open during the posted hours.
